Frequently Asked Questions


Q:  How much does it cost per person to attend an event?
A:  The cost per person is $45.  For paint parties with 10-19 guests, we offer a 10% discount per person (that's $40.50 w/discount); 20-29 guests, enjoy a 15% discount per person (that's $38.25 w/discount); and parties with 30+ guests, will receive a 20% discount per person (only $36.00 w/discount)!  The more friends that participate in your event, the less you pay! Class fees must be paid in advance of the event via PayPal.  You do not have to have a PayPal account to use this method of payment. 


Q:  Is there a deposit required to host a party?
A:  Yes, there is a $125 deposit required to confirm your party. The deposit will be deducted from the total cost of the party.  Please see the cancellation policy below for details on the deposit.


Q:  How large does my space have to be to host a party?
A:  Your available space determines the number of guests that can participate in your event.  You should limit your number of invited guests to the seating capacity of 6' rectangular tables that will be set up in a general area in your home, i.e., living room, basement, garage.  You will need to clear the room of large furniture to accommodate the tables and floor coverings.  Fun on a Brush will provide the tables and chairs; however, you are responsible for moving furniture. 

Q:  What should we wear?
A:  Although you will be provided with aprons to protect your clothing, it would be best to wear something that won't be ruined by a few splashes of paint!

Q:  Do you have a cancellation policy?
A:  Yes, if you cancel up to three weeks prior to your event, we will happily refund your deposit 100%, minus the $50 custom painting fee if you requested this option. Cancellations two to three weeks prior to your event are subject to a credit and can be applied to an alternate date. Cancellations within 7 days of the event will result in 100% forfeiture of the deposit and cannot be used as credit toward an alternate date.

Q:  What should I tell my guests to bring?
A:  All they really need to bring is an open mind!  As a host, you may want to provide light snacks and beverages, or ask your guests to bring their own.  We provide you with all the necessary painting supplies, including a 16x20 canvas that your guests will take home.

Q:  Is there an age limit?
A:  Yes, our target age is 13 and older.  We offer children's parties for ages 7 and up, so there is an opportunity for the little ones to experience the fun!  

Q:  Does Fun on a Brush, LLC do Corporate and/or Community Events?
A:  Yes, we would love to work with your corporate group to provide a unique, stress relieving team building event.  Community Events are one of our favorite activities!  In a short period of time, artists of all ages learn step-by-step how to paint their own masterpiece.
